If you think David is the only talented guy in the Cook family – think again. Andrew Cook, the younger brother of David, has inherited some of his genes. Now, I’m only basing that on just one song I heard on his myspace page, but the little that I have heard, I have a feeling he has enough talent to record an album. Now, don’t ask me why he didn’t make it past the first round of American Idol, but maybe he wasn’t appealing enough to the judges. Who knows?
All I know is I am rooting for Andrew’s career just as much as I am for David’s career. After all, according to AC himself – “If [David Cook] makes it on…I’m going to Ashlee Simpson him.” I guess we’ll see.
The talent aside, I’m sure every fan of David Cook is a fan of Andrew. I love the fact that Andrew seems to enjoy David’s fame more then David himself. I also love the fact that Andrew seems to like the attention more then David. I’m pretty sure he’s hoping to get bombarded by women as he’s walking down the street. I mean what guy doesn’t like that kind of attention? Think about it; reading all those American Idol forums that dedicate a thread to Andrew must make him extremely giddy and proud. If David Cook is not the best brother, then I don’t know who is. He allowed his little brother to get some of his attention so he can be booked with dates for the rest of the year. Okay, maybe he has a girlfriend; who knows? All I am saying is I’m sure Andrew is not complaining.
Anyway, the point of this to post to just say how much I like AC and his extensive support for his brother.
